GeekLabs Moving ("up"?)

While I'm sure I'll still be doing a lot of coding from home, It's time GeekLabs grows up, mostly because of UtiliFlex, which is evolving into more of a complete customer service and billing system for utilities using
"smart meters". We've rented out Suite 243 and 241 of 535 Chestnut Street (the old "IBM Building") and have the adjacent data center room, which already has racks and fiber from previous tenants. My other big client/project: NextKnowledge is on the first floor, so it'll make it easier to take care of them as well. We'll be moving in the end of March, if you are in the 'hood, stop by and visit.

And that is part of the game. While we need offices for practical matters (Nancy's tolerant about lots of gear and people in the house, but there are limits, even for me), we are also dealing with clientelle as well as staff that need to visit decent workplace facilities. We'll have a lot of dot.com style blinky lights.. and a development/demo micro-utility system with several meters hooked up and running.
Hard to do that on the living room floor (I know, I've been doing it..).

Congrats on the expansion, though that's gotta be, what, 700 feet lower than your current altitude! Sucks to have a commute, though.

I'm commuting half the week to that same building anyway. Nancy works a couple of buildings away, so it's not bad.
