Holy cow, this may be the one time ever that I link to Rush Limbaugh without scorn or irony: Limbaugh looks at Reverend Wright's impact on the Obama:
So it appears to me, if you look at Reverend Wright, listen to what he says and analyze it from the context or perspective of what's best for him, which is clearly all he's interested in, what's best for him is that if Obama loses, because then it's easy for him to say, "See, the white power structure doesn't want a black man to rise to the pinnacle of power in the United States of America." It would certainly fuel Reverend Wright's future and continue to help him raise money and keep people whipped up into a frenzy. He's not helpful. Whatever he thinks he's doing, it is not helpful to Barack Obama.

Grain of salt here: Yes, I also realize that Limbaugh is pushing for Hillary Clinton to win the Democrat's nomination, but it's so rare to have someone in the mainstream media actually acknowledge the complexities of individual motivations that I think there's some good stuff to chew on there.

This election was rather exciting. Now it's starting to feel like a train wreck - a rather gory - slow motion - train wreck. All McCain has to do is act like the super hero trying to stop the wreck - or at least point out the reasons why it's happening - and he'll get in. Of course, as I've said elsewhere, if he choose Condi as his running mate, there'll be no stopping him.
