Had a productive Craigslisting this weekend, got some gorgeous maple crown molding to finish off the tops of the cabinets in the kitchen, when we get to that stage, got an air compressor so that I don't have to borrow Phil's, and it seems to be a decent compromise between big enough to actually drive a paint gun, but small enough to be generally useful for things like nailing and cleaning stuff off, and we got me a big-ass cherry desk for my office. Most of Sunday was spent organizing the office. As you can see, we're still not all there. Minutia over at Flutterby.net.

Okay, it's been updated. The displays are now wall mounted, the main computer monitor is on a swing-out arm, the keyboard is on a tray, I still want to put the server's keyboard and mouse on a tray (decided to build rather than buy), and put the printer and the phone on a shelf.

I'd love to get a nice mount for my computer, but since I've been on the road so often, I ended up giving my regular computer to my kid for gaming and I'm working solely off my laptop now. Laptop, speakers, monitor are about all that's on my desk at the moment.
Maybe when I don't have to travel so much, or if I decide to get a computer dedicated to dorking off instead of real productivity (mac mini would be nice), I'd consider getting one of those dual monitor mounts that clamp onto the back of my desk.

I'm still looking at cable management, but there's the big monitor on the swing mount in two different positions, with the pull-out tray for the main keyboard similarly placed.

Very nice looking. I like how the monitor can swing into position, I was thinking of just an immobile mount on the back of the desk, but the moving monitor looks quite nice.
