Argh. I finished the GPS Shield this evening, but don't have any FAT16 SD cards. Well, I've got a 1GB one, but I had to jump through hoops to make it work in the embedded device its currently driving, and for whatever reason the Arduino device isn't working with it and I don't want to risk a reformat.
Put a call out on Freecycle, but I'll probably be seeing if anyone still sells 1GB or less cards in the morning.

I've got a 32M SD card sitting right here. Probably cost more to get it to you than it's worth.

At my local Office Depot store there's a bin of 1GB SD cards for $7.99 each next to one of the registers. Maybe in your area too?

I've got several < 128MB CF cards. I should probably stock up on smaller SD cards
and USB sticks while they can still be found.
The VIA EPIA Eden 500Mhz fanless board will boot off USB Floppy or USB ZIP. You
can format a smaller USB stick as a ZIP and it will boot successfully. There are
probably other boards out there with similar issues. A cheaper option than buying
IDE-CF adapters.
BTW, I've heard of some issues with some CF cards and IDE-CF adapters. Anyone have
problems with this?
