So many wonderful pull-quotes: "...if you see, hear, or smell something suspiciou...", and "iWatch because I have brain cancer", and ...
I wonder if any of those behind this have any idea how creepy this ad is, especially given the history of the LAPD.

I'm thinking the good use of a botnet, an address list of judges, city officials and powerful people, a list of random inane activities to report and 50 lines of code would probably have them taking it down quickly.

This alerted me to the possibility that maybe my neighbor is a person that is exactly the type of individual that this program is targeting. It DID strike me as strange, when he was wearing a stocking cap in July, and coming out under the edges all around there was what appeared to be aluminum foil. Then I was out in my yard late at night and he was unloading steel drums out of a truck behind his house, and, my curiosity aroused, I crept closer because he was talking to himself, and finally I was close enough to make out some of what he was saying........" This'll fix those bastards... the next noise you hear will be The Voice of the People!!" Shortly thereafter, I listed my house and made plans to move to Idaho

This is indeed scary. Not necessarily the video itself, but the fact that they are getting away with implementing a police state, and most people seem to be happy about it. I'm seeing the same thing happening here in Sweden and EU, although the people of those European countries that used to be part of Soviet tend to be more suspicious of government in general.
Dan: I heard it as "grand kids", not "brain cancer". Granted, his articulation was sub par for an actor.

I'm actually starting to suspect that this whole thing was a put-on, if not the least because iwatchla.com now redirects to a non-existed LAPD URL.
