This is one of those very fast changing events where few, if any, know what is really going on. I'm just hoping some good news is realized soon. It sounds like the intro blip to a bad sci-fi anime or Godzilla movie.

Unfortunately, this disaster may ultimately prove more disasterous than Chernobyl, due to its proximity to large population centers.
It's likely to be months before it's "under control."
The Japanese really miscalculated on this one...
