Why Dan Wolfe @patriotusa76 was most likely behind the current Congressman Weiner kerfluffle. Obligatory John Stewart Daily Show coverage of the incident pointing out that once again the only people actually doing any real journalism appear to be... uh... you know... bloggers:
By the way, those "liberal and conservative blogs" having an "all out war", they're probably not doing anything about this story, except, uh, showing that the EXIF tags from the photo don't match the camera that Weiner normally uses...

RT @anildash: Pro tip for elected officials: You can put junk shots directly on your profile on MySpace, and still not worry about anyone seeing them!

Apparently, Weiner was being a dick: Anthony Weiner admits that he sent the picture.
"This was a very dumb thing to do, this was a very destructive
thing to do," Weiner said. "If you're looking for some deep
explanation for it, I simply don't have one."
So, I get that politicians sometimes end up chasing a little tail on the side. I can sympathise with mailing pictures of your cock around.
What I find unforgivable is: The voters of his district are depending on this man to understand complex issues, and to made decisions based on his understanding of those issues. This is also a guy who couldn't figure out the difference between publicly posting a picture and sending it as a direct message.
The inability to get that difference right indicates... well... you wanna know what's wrong with government?
