So Charlene let slip a small part of my birthday surprise. Would anyone involved be interested in a river trip on Sunday? Would it conflict?

I seem to keep a truck and camping trailer loaded up (or nearly so) for such excursions. I even know a few guides.. You never know when people might want to head to the river.

My son, Toast (his river name, which makes me the Toaster, thank you very much), is sorry that he won't be able to be your guide. He's opening the bar at Stickies that day (yes, the bar opens Sunday morning.)

OAR apparently has several hundred people rafting the day before you'll be on the river and is begging Toast to come help. He hasn't made it up there yet this summer though. Bar-tending pays more.

If your river cred is outdated or in need of supplementation, Toast said you are free to bandy about his name for what it's worth....and if you add that you're a friend of the Toaster's too, that won't hurt either. hahaha
