Just an aside - in the rebar photos, I don't see any anchor bolts. Aren't you required to hold the building on the slab?

Oh yeah. 24" long bolts at the ends of the shear walls, 12" J-bolts at 3' spacing. You can see the shear wall bolts are held in by the blue plastic holders on the corners in the lower pictures, the J-bolts will be put in by hand after the cement has poured.
The rationale for this (putting in the J-bolts later) is that it's easier to screed the concrete if the sides of the forms can be used as a reference edge.
