In the heat of the 2008 election, I made a statement that if McCain chose Condi Rice as his
running mate, he would stand a much better chance of winning. Of course,
McCain made a famously horrific choice for VP that made the election Obama's to
lose.
It seems Condi's name is coming up as a serious contender for second-man on the
GOP ticket. What's interesting is how excited the media is about the possibility
and how disinterested she is in the position.
Of course the far right don't like her because she's as moderate as Romney was
before the primaries!

The really ironic thing is that McCain had access to all of Romney's tax returns -- the tax returns Romney
is refusing to release -- and he went with Palin over Romney.

I need to go back and document the specifics, but I recall hearing Ms. Rice saying, after the planes hit the buildings, that nobody could have anticipated that people would use aircraft as missiles. That was about a decade after the French (you know, the cheese eating surrender monkeys) thwarted an effort by Algerian radicals to crash a plane into Paris. She's a poser, unfortunately.

Aren't they ALL posers at that level? The only mitigating factor is how
exciting the skeletons are in the closet.
