That's a reality_adjustment()
function.
Today we have been dealing with the conundrums created when you let (just a couple) users select the invoice date (within a selected range +/- days).
Example: They read the meters on August 1st through Aug 3rd.. Then create the charges and accounting on Aug 6th, but they invoice the larger customers with an invoice date of July 28th, and the smaller with an invoice date of August 1st. So they can fudge the reporting of sales a month prior to actual..
and in that country, that is legal.

. If we let users have rights... well... society will crumble.
Meanwhile, I'm implementing "fuck with system integrity because user data is profoundly flawed and needs to be deleted to be corrected".
