WOBO = A Heineken design for a beer bottle that could be used as a building brick. I think this design should be resurrected and should be a world standard for many products. I'd love to build with Heineken Green, Skyy Vodka Blue, Coca Cola Red.... They could be filled with sand/earth/crushed bottles.. for more solid/opaque and interesting variations.

best statistic: "With this design, a basic 10 by10 foot hut could be built using one-thousand bricks."
Or a little more than 3 beers a day for a year, or one really great party.

When Royal Dutch Shell was founded they were the first big competition for Standard Oil, and began to ship kerosene to Asia. However, they used tankers and assumed customers would bring in old tin Standard cans to be refilled with Shell. It was a disaster, as the tin plate used by Standard was almost instantly repurposed as roofing material, satay woks and other homemade products. Shell had to dispatch tinplate by fast ship and hire locals to make them into cans, or loose out to Standard. Could the same thing happen to local brewers who ignore the booming construction market?
