We want to go paperless: Need a scanner & Linux-based document management system that's "stack of invoices/bills/receipts, press scan" easy. Suggestions?

A few months ago I have seen this review in BoingBoing

Cool! I've seen some of the pricier options, but it's nice to have a recommendation! Looks like it'll take some tweaking to get that to work with Linux, though. And their wireless solution appears to be proprietary and only available on iPhone/Android Grrr...

The other suggestion I've gotten has been a Doxie plus an Eye-Fi card, but I like the idea of a good sheet feeder.

Joe is using an Fujitsu ScanSnap ix500, on a Mac. It OCR's the scanned docs pretty darn well. Unknown how/if it works in Linux, but it seems to do most of the real work inside of the scanner.

Looking at the ScanSnap, I'm not sure I can get it to play nicely with Linux in the way I want. It might be possible, but I think it really wants a Windows or Mac box to drive it.

Dunno about Linux, but Tom loves the combination of his ScanSnap and Evernote on his Mac.
