So this bet with Dan reminded me that I don't watch broadcast TV anymore. My main stream sources for content seem to be
Amazon,Netflix and HBOgo. YouTube and indy content could be a whole other thread, but, like everyone else broadcast/on-
demand, I'm looking for more content(the good stuff). Here are TV shows I currently watch, like and would recommend.
HBO
Game Of Thrones

True Blood
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0844441/?ref_=sr_1
Netflix
House of Cards
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1856010/?ref_=sr_1
Orange is the New Black
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2372162/?ref_=sr_1
AMC
Breaking Bad
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903747/?ref_=sr_1
Hell on Wheels

I'm an addict of Sons of Anarchy. and watch Walking Dead because it's fun. The wife and I enjoy
Downton Abbey as well. But that's all pretty
common place.
I did get DirecTV last Fall. My wife loves to veg to HGTV and there's no reliable way to get their content
streamed. However, we rarely ever watch live programming and time shift everything on the DVR. The
picture is fantastic and the new DVR is easy to set up. I can jump on the DirecTV website and set shows to
record from anywhere. I do wish they didn't charge an extra $100 to stream the content off the DVR to
networked devices. I still torrent Breaking Bad so I can watch it on my computer.

Nancy and I have gotten slightly hooked for a while on some TV via Netflex, Arrested Development, Once... and I'll toss Mythbusters up for some noise sometimes, but we really both have better things to do with our "veg" time.
We love a good movie, The Smell of Success recently pushed our buttons in good ways as a "both of us" movie.

Tonights movie War Horse was everything you expect from a Spielberg film, down to the tear in the corner of your eye at the end.

Haven't been watching much lately, Charlene and I have been watching woodworking videos when we've been too brain dead to do something else.
And I have been known to tune in to Journey Quest occasionally.
These last few days of productivity have been accompanied by stories from Drabblecast, Escape Pod, Dunesteef, Nobilis Erotica and Starship Sofa, with music from Coverville.
Other podcast fiction has included The Ballad of Iron Percy, Metamor City, various tales from J. Daniel Sawyer, and Nathan Lowell.
Written has been mostly on the tablet of late. Been enjoying Rob Kroese.
When I'm not hungry and tired (but at least showered) from being under the house all day (yay the podcasts!), I'll have to convert my regular comics and podcast feeds into readable...

Hmmmm lots of links to explore. Thanks guys. I'll have to see if Journey Quest
has season 3 yet. open source production is an interesting concept but I think
it has stalled them for the last year or two. I love Downton Abbey too but
unhappy with the ending of season3. Then again I'm unhappy with with all of the
Walking Dead but still continue to watch it(maybe this is my freight train
series).
two decent movies I've recently watched

An ok story but the acting(character drive) makes this movie super fun

If you like DrWho or Douglas Adams this will have you in stitches. If you don't
know those guys this movie is not for you. Just some wankers in a pub getting
pissed.
