License-plate-less cars have cost the Golden Gate Bridge $1.2 million this year. The Golden Gate Bridge went to license plate scanning rather than manual ticket takers in March, and:

  1. 80,000 no plate violations.
  2. 108,000
  3. 224,000 (through Oct. 31)
