I just bought (had to replace a stolen Note II) a Samsung Note III via AT&T. Awesome piece of hardware, that as I scrape off the AT&T-isms is a really nice Android phone. I'm sitting in the RV now, posting via a WiFi Hotspot on it with enough 4G LTE goodness to think I am on any wired connection for normal web/email/sysadmin use. As a "mobile device", it does everything I think a mobile device should do, on a screen large enough to be enjoyable. But the "add-ons" for things that require multiple accounts in multiple places, some with extra charges (AT&T TV for example..) are best removed from the main menu screens.
