If I could get more people to use JSON, it'd be applicable in my worlds. I'd be tempted to put it in the header instead of the "body" ala SOAP Headers (god, did I really say that?) so that the clueless would not see them and be confused by them, but the clueful would see them and hopefully use them.

I'd be happy if I could get a major North American "smart grid" vendor to use SSL and not put the credentials in the XML documents that get stored all over the place.
