Shadow forwarded along a video titled COOLEST! TABLE SAW OR ROUTER JIG EVER! MAKE WOOD BOWLS! (YouTube video) which, I think, is overselling it a bit, but it is a neat jig for shaping.
Not sure how he cleans out the insides, though... Charlene just ordered an Arbortech Mini-TURBO for cleaning out the insides of the projects she does...

Clean out the insides by putting the bowl, mounted on the bottom of the bowl, top down on the table saw blade. Start spinning the bowl, and raising the saw blade. Works as long as the shape of the bowl is just a little bigger than the saw blade.
It's a kewl jig. But I have to admit, it lacks the zen-ish state you get from turning on a lathe and the flexibility.
