I'm coming to grips with my recent hobby/addiction: "preparing for Burning Man".
The only cure is to "go". The trailer is already packed including some recent new gear including a 100 watt solar panel system, a Pelican Elite cooler, Jerry Cans... I'll even rationalize it's practical because this stuff is not in my way in the garage, because it is in the trailer. It's also sign of issues. Home life is pretty good, work life is stable (aka same stuff, different day) and this has become an outlet for my mind to chew on interesting things. I hope it's a healthy outlet.

I showed this to a friend, also a long-time burner; she cracked up and said that it sounded like I could have written it myself.

Awesome. David Best and crew were pretty kewl a few years ago. I spent a few hours working with them in the Playa, Jen (a campmate) made them her 2nd home. They'll work your ass off while making you feel like part of something great. Which it is.
