You can certainly choose a Tumblr theme that lists who you follow. I don't know if anyone but you yourself can see who follows you.

Okay, I think I've got a Tumblr theme that doesn't. I doubt I'll put any content there, but I was experimenting with the Tumblr app and wanted to make sure that there wasn't an obvious way to leak, for instance, one person with two distinct identities and that both of those identities associate to a group of people that's fairly distinct.

I think there is enough IP tracking, deep cookies, etc.. to make keeping multiple persona's really hard. Possible. But hard. 1st step would be different upstream internet connections. Example: for my Bubba Elvis persona I use prepaid Verizon MiFi on a Windows 7 system, for everything else, MacOS on local ISP's etc.. etc..

Yeah, there's a lot of bleed through on my personas, and the fact that I know of several for certain people means they're not hiding too hard, but in the Tumblr I don't want to be the blog that makes it obvious that these blogs are all run by people in a fairly small social group.
Especially since I out myself on that persona. At least to people who know me.
