Yet another new RISKS digest, this one has a mention of the ITS4 Software Security Scanner which looks for potential security holes in C and C++ code; software called Mission Performance Plan in use in U.S. embassies around the world, written by programmers from the former Soviet Union, a fact which panicked the U.S. State Department recently; some less-than-charitable comments about Microsoft's Authenticode system; and some interesting notes on trying to read the privacy policy at http://www.foxkids.com in either the fonts defined by the web page or without images loaded (black on black).
