In 1990, I was working on a system that took 14 minutes to link the app. Now it takes longer than that for Ansible to reprovision a server.

I've concluded after somewhat over a year of use that Ansible is hot garbage, although I think this is more to do with its entire class of tooling being intrinsically garbagey than a comment on Ansible's relative merits in a space including things like Chef and Puppet.
