Shadow forwarded along a brilliant use for old patch panels: a patch panel key ring holder. I'd do one, except that I can never keep the little plastic retention prongs from breaking off my RJ connectors.

You say that like you'd be worried about the connection quality.

I'm wondering if those are physical loopback cables. If constructed correctly (TX to RX, RX to TX), would that really loopback the data? If true ... ooh, the fun one can have ...
