Mouthorgan on Joe Lieberman as Gore's VP says a lot of the things I'm thinking. The economic policies of a Democrat with the social restrictions of a Republican. I thought I might have to vote against Shrub if it looked like Gore was gonna lose, now I'm not sure there is a lesser of the evils and Harry Browne is one vote up.

The lesser of two evils is still evil. We made it through Harding, we made it through Nixon, we're about to make it through Clinton and we can make it through either Bush or Gore. If you cast your vote just to keep someone you don't want as president from being president then you are voting for someone you don't want as President.
Vote for someone you can believe in, or at least someone who's political convictions most closely match your own. Hey, it looks like your vote is wasted no matter who you vote for so you might as well waste it on someone you like. Who knows, if the third party vote count starts becoming consistently 20-25% maybe the two major parties will sit up and take notice and start trying to do something right, uhm, er, correct for a change.
