Freecycle work where you are? Here it's just a handful of people who grab as much of everything as they can and sell it on eBay.

I've offered it on Freecycle. There's a thrift store in Sebastopol (20 miles away) that specializes in sewing supplies, that was the sole suggestion from Freecycle.
