If only the price of Pis wasn't ridiculous nowadays. You can get one - *only one* - from Canakit for an okay price, with a 2 month wait, last I looked.

Yeah. I just gave a friend my 4 kit, and he bought a second and it was twice the price for the bare board as I paid for the kit.
OTOH, a neighbor just gave me an ESP32 with a sh*load of I/O...
