Currently weighing the future of civilization against whether donation to any Democrat PACs will make any difference at all against the wave of spam and whether a donation will just encourage them to further destroy the capability of my phone to be used as a communications device by overwhelming me with appeals.

I donate. I use two things to keep the spam away. At home, my landline telecom provider has a virtual phone machine that always takes a message so my home phone never rings. They email me wav files and I delete the saved messages on their website once a week. I use this number for all credit card trx, and especially including Act Blue. On my cell phone, I have a Do Not Disturb feature. If you're not in my contacts you can't text me and the phone will silently take a message. If I give my phone number to a pol or their aide, I tell them if it shows up in VoteBuilder I will block them. Hope this helps.

But yeah, this is the last election I will go all out for. If Trump wins, I will declare the Democratic party useless and just sit back and watch the world burn.

Would be interested in which PACs you are considering. I'm actually looking for downballot races, state house races that can make or break a majority or veto-proof, secretaries of state, state supreme courts. If you know how to find those, I'm listening.

I put my old cell number in Google Voice, where all the spam messages go to die. My phone now has a German +49 number. Which the PACs don't know about yet.

All <cite>ed text will point to the Flutterby knowledge base. Two enters (ie: a blank line) gets you a new paragraph, special treatment for paragraphs that are manually indented or start with "#" (as in "#include" or "#!/usr/bin/perl"), "/* " or ">" (as in a quoted message) or look like lists, or within a paragraph you can use a number of HTML tags:
