Can you imagine CEOs breathlessly showcasing “25% of new code copied from StackOverflow”??

Because it’s pretty much the same thing.

I hate this timeline.

Yeah. I suspect this is gonna bite them, but probably also be indistinguishable from decline for other managerial decisions.

I think this is more drift in the "we've known how to build processes to develop software better since the '70s, but we choose to do other things" direction.
