On Safe C++

I'm doing a lot of thinking about career direction, and trying to figure out languages to commit to, and whatnot, and I love C, and have enjoyed the expressiveness of C++, but boy the direction of the latter appears to be a total shitshow, both in terms of the language, and the culture.
