Not terribly notable in this climate, drunk asshole threatens Southwest flight with a sneaker, except... The guy was from New Orleans. New rule: If you're from freakin' New Orleans and make an ass of yourself because you can't hold your liquor, mandatory life. I can see if you're from, ya know, Fargo or something, and don't know what to do after a few drinks, but if you're from New Orleans you have no excuse. Sheesh.

I've long maintained that one of the prerequisites of living here in the Big Sleazy is the ability to be a gracious drunk. On behalf of my fellow citizens, my deepest apologies.

I am proud to see a new thing show up in these reports. For years the American populace has said "I'm not getting involved, wait for the authorities" and pretty much ignored such situations.
We are taking responsibility for what is going on around us, and in this article I am proud to see: "...when two male passengers moved to subdue him".
