Wow. No wonder nobody shows up for spring elections, and being registered Libertarian didn't help any. About the most I could do was not fill in a circle to show my displeasure.

Hey, you could have voted for the druid unitarian and the ferret guy, so it wasn't a dead loss.

So you guys had your elections this week? That would explain the massive campaign ads we were pummelled with this weekend when we came down to Disneyland.

I definitely voted for the ferret guy. The only person I withheld a vote from was Marin's District Attorney, who isn't bad as District Attorney's go, just not great.
And of course in California there's always the odious task of wading through all the propositions that apparently come from talk-radio kneejerk reactionaries and should really be dealt with at a legislature level, but I don't have any real strong feelings on that matter.
Shawn, it was probably especially bad down near Disneyland 'cause Orange County is the stronghold of Republicanism (Yes, I know, I'm being charitable here), and it was a primary pitting the wacko Christian Taliban spammer versus the mayor of LA who's trying to be a little more inclusive and pull some women into his voting pool.
The latter lost.
