Ow. I hope that's on the upper, otherwise it's been way too long 'cause I don't recognize the rocks. Damn. I am homesick.

Oh, wait, that's the staging eddy after Grumpy's, right?
And Charlene says that you're keeping me at the computer way too late.

I am to the Ocoee what Dubya is to academics, but I think it is just after Grumpy's. It's VERY close to the right bank and folks approached from above and below the hole to ride it. Also, there's another hole or something created by the big rock in the upper left of the pic (which apparently required more skill.... everybody kept washing out quickly when they'd paddle in there.)
Tell Charlene she's keeping you in CA way too much. <giggle>

For the record, the second pic is at Broken Nose. That guy was as good as I saw on the river Sunday..... playing in the small hole at the top and, as you can see, enjoying himself at the end.

What is this, "name that rock"? It's been way too long, and I've no idea what this guy would actually be doing there, but that looks kinda like it could be the third ledge at Broken Nose if the water's running about 2200 CFS, or it might be somewhere in Slice-n-Dice.

Whoops, that'll teach me to not hit "reload" before I write up a response...

It's the 3rd ledge at Broken Nose. I dunno what he was doing.... he had a lady with him shooting video as he sorta surfed sideways.... I'm assuming he wanted to face her as she shot the video.
Yeah, the water was up a little.
