Time Enough for Sex

"the average guy has sex once a week if he's single; twice a week if he's married and three times a week if he's living in sin. "

I suspect that the article failed to distinguished between "married, no kids" and "married, kids".

Living in sin, and still skewing towards the high end of the bell curve. Woohoo!

(wait, is that a bell curve or a poisson distribution? Damn, I knew I shouldn't have skipped statistcs... well, actually, I didn't...)

I gotta wonder, ziffle, about the "get married" comment. Since I assume you to be single, it would seem "living in sin" provides the fiscal safety (relatively speaking) marriage doesn't as well as the added benefits from the cited study, so why choose marriage over living in sin?

As for Dan, shouldn't that be "still skewering..." and, while we're bragging, my p(x;m) for last week was 0.015328310048810097.

I've always known we weren't average...but now I have to worry about being labeled a braggart.

Diane, married 15 years with 2 kids, averaging four times a week (except for that 8-day period in January when I counted 18...)

On one end of the scale is Topspin and Dan, luckily people like me exist to dampen the curve so the stats people can make normal people feel better.
