Apparently they endeavour to deliver within 10 working days to non-UK addresses, but the shipping charges are steep: £20.00 for all orders of any value to be delivered to non-UK and non-European Union addresses. Anybody interested maybe in doing a combination order which we can split up at the destination? I'm in the Bay Area and would be willing to serve as distribution point...

I've written off to find out the size, material, and assorted other sordid details about these little beauties and will post here when I get a reply. Current exchange rate is 100 USD = 68.5 GBP (or put another way, 100 GBP = 146 USD).

OK, answer received: The Bad Taste Bears are made of polyresin, and measure approximately 10cm in height. (That's about 4" - I looked it up. :-) Shipping to the US is GB[unknown char]20.00 per order. This will be charged automatically
when ordering on-line. For your info, the bad taste bears have a website - www.piranhagifts.com. I visited the PiranhaGifts website and the prices are the same, but some of the items sold at GadgetShop are listed as "club members' purchase only" (hmmm) so GadgetShop would be the better place to shop.
That said, I hadn't expected them to be (a) so small and (b) made out of polyresin rather than being plushies. (Scarlet, Jock, Ringo, and Russell do come in plush equivalents, but they're not as good looking and they're GB[unknown char]15 each.) Shucks. I'm not quite as interested as I used to be, although some of them would make outstanding birthday gifts...

That's what I was afraid of. I'm not so interested in non-plushies (or at least bigger resins) either.
