Okay, one more instance of leeching off of Julie's cultural hipness. At least for this week. Winston Smith is a montage artist whose work has graced the Dead Kennedys albums, among others. Some cute visual puns, some a little tired and drawn out, but worth a look.

Winston's been around a while - as can be deduced from the Dead Kennedys comment. I have a book called
Act Like Nothing's Wrong, a retrospective of his work up through about 1993, its publication date.
The book is from Last Gasp Press, which should, if I recall correctly, have one or more obvious URLs (if you're interested in trying to find a leftover copy).
I don't like his stuff very often - too obvious, too easy - but when it does connect with me, it connects hard.

I would have to agree...most of the time his stuff is "ok"...but ever once in a while...BAM!
