Don't ask me how I ran across this... The English part of the homepage of Mauve AG says "We speak the language of fonds". Dictionary.com says that "fonds" is the plural of "fond", "The background of a design in lace." My German is a a little rusty, but I don't think that's what they're selling.

Charlie says that, as you might expect, "fonds" in German means "funds". In case you were looking for verification.
Think someone should send them a feedback and let them know their translation is kooky?

That's what I figured. I was waiting on sending them feedback 'til I could figure out what the right translation is, because "the language of funds" isn't quite right.
