This commentary gives an example of the fallacies you can get into when you try to compare different people's oppressions. The writer seems to be saying that, since the damage circumcision does to boys is less severe than the worst that is done to girls in some parts of the world, then it is negligible and may be dismissed from consideration.

The way I heard the story, the keycase turned into a steamer trunk, but then the story was being told by an irishman.
