I think that "this is getting tiresome" [*] just made my "anyone who uses ends up in my killfile" list. Much like an automobile horn, the person who uses the phrase is almost always the one in the wrong, is trying to dodge the facts of the discussion, and thinks that bluster can cover for discussion.

My favorite part was where he ragged *me* about *my* superior tone. Oh, the number of ways in which
I found that humorous...

And, actually, Dave is as close to having made my killfile as someone can get and not have actually made it, mostly because I still occasionally run into him online, but I'd just run into that exact phrase in another space by someone similarly unconcerned with the facts of the situation.

How do you get back from the comments to the posting?
And I gave up on Dave years ago... right after, in email, in reaction to my suggestion that, um, I dunno, a Linux port of Frontier might be a good idea (this was in about 1997 or so), he called me about every kind of mother fucker, and a few I think he made up.
Anyone seen Frontier 10 yet?
Oh, and the stunning lack of buzz about it?
Shame; it actually *is* a spiffy environment.

I'm sorry, but this discussion is getting tiresome.
Ack! Put down that knife! ;-)
