Okay, it is finally time: I'd like to take some advertising on Flutterby. I'm interested in advertisers who provide something of value (ie: no hotel or airport parking aggregators), the ads can be images or text, but no animation or pop-ups, and page layout, sizes and such are all to be determined. I no longer care about whether or not you're doing it just for search engine value, because search engines are already falling down on this front, but I'd also really like it if the advertised products and services were actually germaine to a Flutterby readership. Suggestions?

I'd pay some reasonable amount for a small button for GeekLabs, just because.
Either 180x60 or smaller.
(Yeah, I'd take the animation out..) It'd be strictly ego gratification advertising and friendly support for Flutterby's continued existance.
The issue is. What would be apropos? Sex toys, bicycles, cooking gadgets and programming books?

I think you might like to take a look at
BlogAds. Henry runs a
good ship over there, I was one of their earliest members. People can sign up, you can approve the ads or
even give discounts to friends. Not a bad setup.

I'd buy programming books that involved sex toy bicycle cooking gadgets.

Mark, given that I've got one of your books on my shelf here, and that neither Dori or Mike have stood up to be counted, I think you're elected to write it! I suppose you'll be looking to me for an implementation, though...

I've got this gel-seat idea that involves a reasonable amount of gelatin/pectin, a PowerBar recipe, and a "baking area" inside the seat.
The mixture would mold itself to the desired area as you peddle/heat it providing a nice, squishy, warming sensation for the rider AND a beautiful, provactive mold for the partner when you are done with your ride.
The book needs to be a programming guide for the included bike computer/temp indicator/baking timer component, of course.
Call it "Rolled Ohhhhhhhhhts"

If you can come up with a graphic ad for that one, I'll run it for free!

Well, AMOSXP does have 'sexual reproduction' in the index. Sounds like a fun collaborative project,
though.
Anyone coming to MacWorld in Jaunary? The Googleship is sending me there thursday and friday.
