US federal government extends abstinence-only education message to kids up to 29 years old (alt link):
The revised guidelines specify that states seeking
grants are "to identify groups ... most likely to
bear children out-of-wedlock, targeting adolescents
and/or adults within the 12- through 29-year-old
age range." Previous guidelines didn't mention
targeting of an age group.
"We wanted to remind states they could use these
funds not only to target adolescents," Horn said.
"It's a reminder."
"All this money we're throwing at you? Find new ways to waste it!" he did not continue.
I'm not sure what I could possibly add to this stupidity, except perhaps to note that this is the "smaller government" party pushing this sort of crap.

I propose a "Million American March" to descend on Washington.
GOVERNMENT WASTE - PORK - EARMARKS
Words and hard work are excellent. It is an on-going effort that needs to continue, HOWEVER,
American Citizens showing up by the millions in D.C. would be a spectacle that we all would be proud of.
If organized properly, it could be the Show of the Decade.
It would put shivers up and down the spines of our Congress and scare the hell out of them.
I would work hard and make it my priority #1.
I would appreciate your comments.
