This is my first attempt at trying to build a Wiki-like knowledge base on top of the Flutterby content management system.
This is a place for explanation, description and static links on a topic that's either too broad to be covered under a single link, or that you're just too lazy to find the real link to.

There's the Via Eden product pages
I'm using the little 7"x7" motherboards with four USB ports, serial, parallel, USB keyboard and mouse, VGA and S-Video out, standard sound card and SPDIF audio, two RAM slots and two IDE busses, as motor controllers for a motion control system at work, and to build various projects, including a media center, at home. I bought these from iDot Computing, and think they're the coolest devices I've played with in a long time. As of this writing they go for about $100 for the bare board, and are great running Linux.
See CompactFlash Linux Install for Embedded Applications for how to configure a minimal Linux install to run off a CompactFlash card.
Lots of Flutterby entries in the topic Embedded Devices - Via Eden.
