Visual Studio .NET[Wiki] is the development environment for Microsoft .NET[Wiki]. As of this writing it's nominally released, but is what I'd consider barely beta quality, with lots of random bugs and stuff that make it inappropriate for developing real applications.

Nonetheless, I'm stuck with it.

Random complaints:

  • No real reasource editor.
  • Randomly loses events attached to controls on forms.
