, I used to bring Alec and Zack, the sons of Jeanne, and their friends over to the offices on Friday evenings to play games on the office LAN. One Monday, when we fired up Counter-Strike at lunch, Todd's computer was set to the alias "rat boy". The name stuck. We referred to the Friday night crowd as "the rat boys", and Alec became the "alpha rat boy", and when that experience disappeared with the demise of Coyote Grits, the moniker was narrowed to just the two of them.
