No, the dealmaking system remains rather complicated. There are a great many
factors that must go into the consideration of a deal. I am just not impaled
by a problem with "sweetening a deal". Given that a deal has been offered
and rejected, how can the proposer sweeten the deal to make it more
acceptable? That's a real mess.
